OOTD: For Daddy's Retirement Party

Hello June! It's back to school! Lucky that my boy is not yet going to school this year, so I can still save up on buying uniforms, school supplies, a new pair of school shoes for him. Haha!

Anyway, here's a super late post of Yale's outfit last March 1st for daddy's (my father) retirement party.

Party Planning: PINWHEEL Themed Party

This is one of the cutest I know. If I had a baby girl, this will surely be her 1st birthday theme, but I don't have one, yet. So If you want to plan for your baby girl's birthday or baptism, maybe you would want to check this theme.

For me, this pinwheel themed birthday party should be more on bright colors. But if you want a dainty look, pastel colors will do.

'Til then! :)

I only availed their food, Monster Meal Deal served in buffet style but they were able to give me the program with party hosts and Capt. Shakey's appearance for FREE! The party host was indeed very entertaining and the guests said that they really had a great time!

Again, thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us! :)

Party Preps II: PARTY DECORS

Hi there! Yale's party was over and so my preparations all paid off since I got a lot of good feedback for the decors and party stuffs. I did not get a party organizer nor event decorator 'cause I have my brothers, sisters and my mom to help me out. I'm a hands on mom indeed!

Check out these photos:

I pumped these balloons in the morning and put them inside large garbage bags, turned on the aircon to keep them from popping!

DIY Letters, stand and lights by my siblings

I didn't have a tarpaulin 'cause I think it will just be put to waste after.
So I asked them to just put Yale's name instead (magnets letters from Shakey's)

DIY ceiling balloons by my brother

Simple table centerpieces which includes popcorns, yogurt sticks and candies for the guests to eat while waiting.

All the decors are DIY and very economical. :)

Party Planning: RAINBOW Themed Birthday

I haven't posted some events that I have organized / planned this year, but I'll be sharing them to you once I got the pictures. I can't seem to get the photos on my laptop, so I guess hubby saved them on a USB drive. Anyway, since I have a lot of party planning to do by next year (hooray!) I'm sharing you one of the themes that I will surely enjoy doing.

At this time, you already know that Yale's 2nd birthday party theme will be "Barney in the Chocolate Factory"...At first, I was hesitant about Barney, but it's the only character that kids tend to love most at this age. Being a mom, you would only want to do what your kids would enjoy. So that's the only character that we can incorporate with the other theme I wanted to have: Chocolate Factory. Inspired by the movie, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It's because of the trend in birthday parties today: Candies! But having a son, I wouldn't want him to have a party full of pink, orange, yellow and green colors, those bright colored candies! An alternate way to do that, is to have a chocolate themed party. So that's how I came up with next year's theme for Yale's party.

Alright, enough of that. This post has nothing to do with Yale's birthday party. But I intend to suggest this theme for an adult party. Don't get me wrong, adult party doesn't mean this is exclusive for adults only. I meant birthday parties for adults to give them a kiddie-like party. To lessen the boredom of single colored theme parties. Hey, we adults deserve some kiddie fun too! :)

Anyway, here's the idea that I want to incorporate for the party planning:

Now, I have six birthday parties to plan for next year. Three adult parties and three for kiddos! :)

Have you tried having a Rainbow themed party?

xoxo

Wedding 12-12-12

Hello there mommies! Sorry for haven't been updating this blog, I have been very busy with my beauty blog artnimommy (please do follow for product reviews, beauty, fashion, cosmetics, tutorials, etc.).

Last December 12th, we have attended my high school friend's wedding. Jhelyn tied the knot with her soulmate Dhampel! Yahoo! Welcome to married life marsie! :)

My son Yale is Jhelyn's godson, to this, he was assigned to be their coin bearer. Being the youngest among the entourage, I'm actually worried that he will not participate well doing the ceremony. Well, so I decided to have daddy Tim walk with him in the aisle. LOL! He was so behaved though he actually didn't walk. Daddy carried him as well as the symbol of treasure. :)

The wedding was held at Grand Palazzio Royale in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Here are some snap shots of the wedding:
