Catching up at Starbucks

Oh well, I don't know what words should I put on the title...but this post is all about catching up with my long time friend Karen Gail and helping her fill her Starbucks planner stickers. :)

The last time we were able to get together was last December 2011, when our college friend Maff went home from Italy. I can still remember Karen enjoying some moments with Yale who was just seven months then. And now, she have her little princess Loren Elise who's turning 2 months on the 19th.

Catching up with some friends is really a good thing to do especially when most of them already have their own families. I even gave her some ideas for her little ones' christening which will be held in Pangasinan. Too far, if only I can come too!

Anyway, here's some of our photos:

It's around  half past ten in the evening, no more make up

for me so I can easily fall asleep when I reach home

We enjoyed discounted foodies c/o my sis who's a Starbucks partner

My chosen fix: Toffee nut latte frappe and Toffee nut loaf

If only they have S'mores, I'll definitely go for that one, oh I miss that!

So there, hope Karen finishes all her stickers before she go home to Pangasinan on Sunday. I also saw "Ampy", Karen's little princess. That's what I call her, but unfortunately she was sleeping when we get to their place so I wasn't able to take a photo of her. :(

It's good catching up with friends!

'Til then!

SANSFLUO ToothGel Cleanser for Children

Are you experiencing too much difficulty in brushing your kid's teeth? How about wondering what tooth gel is best to use for teething babies? Well, I've got that answer a year ago and I'm so sorry for putting it into my blog just now.

Anyway, SANSFLUO ToothGel Cleansers are best for teething babies and kids as well. For them, brushing teeth is all about fun and play so we don't want them to swallow the toothpaste every time we help them brush their teeth. Based from the SansFluo website , "studies have shown that excessive injestion of fluoride by children during their teeth forming years causes dental fluorisis, an irregular mineralization of the tooth enamel marked by white spots".

So for our children's safety, it is recommended to use this product as you don't have to worry about rinsing your kid's teeth. You may use this to either massage on their gums while teething, or use as a toothpaste when brushing their teeth.

Comes in 50ml tube with Orange and Strawberry flavors

It's in clear gel form

As for the price, I'm not sure how much exactly but I'm pretty sure you won't be spending a hundred bucks for this. :)

I've been buying this for Yale since he got his first tooth eruption for more than a year now. For me, it's the best tooth gel cleanser 'cause he also use this whenever he brushes his teeth everyday. He is really enjoying brushing his teeth because of the strawberry flavor in this cleanser. And even since he doesn't know how to gurgle yet, it's still safe for him. I just clean his toothbrush with water and brush it against his teeth. Often times, he would ask me for his toothbrush and this gel, he maybe thinking that we're playing whenever he brushes.

I highly recommend this to all moms who are looking for a good teething gel cleanser.

'Til then! :)

SHELL FERRARI PROMO 2012

For kids and adults, and all car enthusiast...Here's your chance to own another Ferrari Collection from Shell. Promo started last October 26 and will last until November 30th 2012. You can now build and race your own Lego Ferrari collection!

Officially, there are five (5) licensed Ferrari cars and one (1) transport truck available, plus a special Ferrari pit crew.

PROMO MECHANICS:

Gas up to Php 1,500 (single or accumulated receipt) of SHELL FuelSave Unleaded or Diesel and drive away with one (1) of these LEGO models for only Php 180 or Php 140 for SHELL V-Power Nitro+ Racing, Gasoline or Diesel.

I actually purchased one this morning for my son Yale. But I was thinking of just putting the little car on his collection since it's almost like the matchbox thing when I was a little kid. Yep, I did collect some cars. :) I got the Ferrari 150 model first. Take a look:

The packaging

There goes the instructions

The stickers

It really looks like a matchbox/collector's item

That's the reason why I don't want Yale to play with it, 'cause it is already considered as part of his collections. Papa actually thought that its size is like those of remote control cars and he is planning to DIY a cabinet for Yale's car collection, he was just shocked when he saw the LEGO car. lol. I think it's because SHELL had those Ferrari cars before that is actually the same size of RC cars. :)

So there, if you're planning to have one, go and get them 'til Nov. 30, 2012 only! :)

STARBUCKS 2013 PLANNER

Today November 3, Christmas officially started at Starbucks, Yehey! It means we can now start collecting stickers for their 2013 planner! Anyway, here's a glimpse of the 2013 planner:

Same mechanics, you just have to ask for a card and collect the stickers: 9 for their promotional beverages and 8 for their signature drinks. Anyway, in case you're wondering what their promotional drinks are, take a look at these:

Same drinks from last year's but the Cranberry thing was replaced with Dark Cherry Mocha

So we went to Starbucks this morning to see hubby from work and for me to have a valid reason as well to get some stickers. lol

I had ham and cheese croissant :)

I got 3 stickers! I ordered 2 Coffee Jellies and 1 Dark Cherry Mocha

Yale with his uncle Chinno

Anyway, if you guys are just around the area, Starbucks is having a kick off party this aftie at Bonifacio High Street open area around 5pm (Nov. 3 PH time). They're giving out a lot of surprises! :)

Happy Weekend! :)

Our Recent Trip to Manila

It's been more than a month now since we settled home to Pampanga. The thought of not going to the Metro makes me realize that I miss some things and food that we usually eat a lot. So last weekend, hubby and I went to the Metro to get the last batch of things in the condo. After which, we went to Trinoma and SM North to buy some things.

Hubby's fave chicken resto of all time: Bon Chon! We went for lunch in their Trinoma branch.

I tried their Chapchae, it's a serving of Korean glass noodles that tastes sweet. I love it!

Their soy garlic chicken that everyone loves!

Red velvet cuppies from Sophie's mom (SM North Branch)

Enough with the food, I chose not to hoard with make ups this time 'cause I'm reserving them on December. :)

So rather, we went to Toy Kingdom and hubby found some remote control cars. Just thought of buying one for Yale as our pasalubong for him.

Ate Cres helping out Yale to open his present

And the RC for Yale!

Truly, at some point, you will realize that you have to skip the make up counters to buy something for your little one. Your bank account may become smaller...but hey, your little one's happiness is priceless! :)

'til next... :)
