How We Spent CHRISTMAS EVE . . .

Hello mommies! We just got home from our Christmas vacation in Baguio City! It was actually a very tiring 8 hours of travel (including so much traffic) from Baguio City to San Fernando, Pampanga. But everything was all worth it. Yale got to spend his Christmas with hubby's family. On Christmas Eve, we got to spend the afternoon in Burnham Park. We went biking, boating and skating. :)

Yale really enjoyed biking huh?!

while boating :)

we went skating too!

they're just waiting for us to finish skating :)

We had a very tiring afternoon but everyone enjoyed! After this, we all went to the hotel to take some rest, bathe and head off to City Camp to wait for Christmas Eve dinner (Noche Buena) and opening of gifts. Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Party Planning: RAINBOW Themed Birthday

I haven't posted some events that I have organized / planned this year, but I'll be sharing them to you once I got the pictures. I can't seem to get the photos on my laptop, so I guess hubby saved them on a USB drive. Anyway, since I have a lot of party planning to do by next year (hooray!) I'm sharing you one of the themes that I will surely enjoy doing.

At this time, you already know that Yale's 2nd birthday party theme will be "Barney in the Chocolate Factory"...At first, I was hesitant about Barney, but it's the only character that kids tend to love most at this age. Being a mom, you would only want to do what your kids would enjoy. So that's the only character that we can incorporate with the other theme I wanted to have: Chocolate Factory. Inspired by the movie, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It's because of the trend in birthday parties today: Candies! But having a son, I wouldn't want him to have a party full of pink, orange, yellow and green colors, those bright colored candies! An alternate way to do that, is to have a chocolate themed party. So that's how I came up with next year's theme for Yale's party.

Alright, enough of that. This post has nothing to do with Yale's birthday party. But I intend to suggest this theme for an adult party. Don't get me wrong, adult party doesn't mean this is exclusive for adults only. I meant birthday parties for adults to give them a kiddie-like party. To lessen the boredom of single colored theme parties. Hey, we adults deserve some kiddie fun too! :)

Anyway, here's the idea that I want to incorporate for the party planning:

Now, I have six birthday parties to plan for next year. Three adult parties and three for kiddos! :)

Have you tried having a Rainbow themed party?

xoxo

Hello Mama THESS!

How's your Christmas shopping mommies! Well, I've been very busy these past few days and so I'm also unwell with cough and colds. But nevertheless, this wouldn't hinder me from posting another event in my son's life: Meeting his grandma Thess (hubby's mom) who just arrived from Dubai last weekend. This is actually the 2nd time he meets mama Thess, the first time was last year when he was just 7 months old. :)

We had lunch at Barrio Fiesta in Makati Ave, just a few blocks away from the Hotel where mama Thess stayed. The part where everyone seems to be excited whenever she comes home is of course the "pasalubong"! LOL

Yale's pasalubong from mama Thess
(Avent 11oz bottles, Aeropostale shirts, Disney Jackets, swimming trunks, arm bands and Nike shoes)

                         my pasalubong from mama Thess
(blouses, MAC Studio Fix fluid, Estee Lauder Make up kit, VS perfume)

and of course, a lot of sweets!

Alright, for hubby's pasalubong, I wasn't able to take snapshots of them but of course, he has a lot! :)
He got a new Nokia Lumia phone, a lot of Aeropostale shirts and shorts, Timex watch, Davidoff Perfume and a Nike shoes. Mama and papa also were also given pasalubongs as well as ate Cres (Yale's nanny).

That's it for today! I hope we can all settle our last minute shopping soon!

Wedding 12-12-12

Hello there mommies! Sorry for haven't been updating this blog, I have been very busy with my beauty blog artnimommy (please do follow for product reviews, beauty, fashion, cosmetics, tutorials, etc.).

Last December 12th, we have attended my high school friend's wedding. Jhelyn tied the knot with her soulmate Dhampel! Yahoo! Welcome to married life marsie! :)

My son Yale is Jhelyn's godson, to this, he was assigned to be their coin bearer. Being the youngest among the entourage, I'm actually worried that he will not participate well doing the ceremony. Well, so I decided to have daddy Tim walk with him in the aisle. LOL! He was so behaved though he actually didn't walk. Daddy carried him as well as the symbol of treasure. :)

The wedding was held at Grand Palazzio Royale in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Here are some snap shots of the wedding:

DISNEY CARS THEMED PARTY (Late Post)

Sorry for posting this so late, this party is one of the birthdays that we catered to last June. It's a 7th birthday party held in Museo Pambata. Just take a look at the pictures as I can't describe them so much! Pictures speaks louder than words indeed! :)

It was Saturday so we came straight from work and did the set-up. We were really tired since we don't have enough sleep but when we went home at around 4pm, we were already exhausted and didn't even have enough time for our Yale. So the next day, we went out and brought him to Gymboree, did some shopping and lunch out at Crustasia in Edsa Shang.

Thanks! :)

CHRISTMAS is just around the corner

Hello everyone! It's already half-way of November...and we can now feel the Christmas atmosphere everywhere! I believe most of the malls here in the country have been displaying a lot of Christmas decors and I really wanted to see the Hello Kitty decors at the Block in SM North. But we can only come over by the last week of November or maybe early in December. :(

So, SM Pampanga already have a display too. But I wasn't able to take a photo for the whole display 'cause Yale wanted me to carry him all the time. We just took some photos with the display.

Yale and ate Cres (his nanny)

So he really wanted me to carry him, just look at me, my back was so curved!
But look at Yale, just as sweet as ever! :)

 Can't wait for the food?

 hubby and me

We didn't took so much time 'cause my real agenda is to buy materials for my craft. It's National Bookstore time! We had merienda/lunch at Greenwich around 11 am. Too early for lunch, but late for merienda. :)

'Til next! :)
